A restored Dutch East Indian Rattan Caned Child’s Chair in super order. Wear to feet commensurate to age. Great colour to nails and caned seat. Our conservator in Wilton has excelled in the conservation of the frame, repairing sympathetically where needed. 19th Century examples of these chairs are rare as the fragility of the binding and the nails becomes apparent generally after about eighty years. Given this chair is considerably older, it has been attended to to ensure it gives another eighty years of use!
