A 17th Century walnut Open Armchair. The rectangular padded back and sprung seat covered in red velvet edged with brass studs. The horizontal spiral turned on similarly turned posts with conforming legs and stretchers. Covered in a delicious deep red velvet this wide proportion walnut chair is a fine example. Close nailed and of a wonderful colour.
